Mirth of Forth Comedy ran a show as part of The Free Fringe during the Edinburgh Fringe again this year, after running a successful comedy showcase in 2010. Richard Pulsford and master-knitter Elaine Devlin teamed up for a show called:
DEVLIN AND PULSFORD ARE SPITTING DUMMIES
“Elaine is tired. Richard is emotional. Between them they are overrun by six kids under five years old whom they blame for all life’s problems, which is frankly, childish of them. But that’s funnier than pretending that parenting is fulfilling.”
The venue for the show was THE SOUTHSIDER pub, 3 – 7 West Richmond Street, Edinburgh EH8 9EF (VENUE 148).
Shows ran daily at 12:55 from SATURDAY 6TH to SATURDAY 13TH AUGUST 2011.
Funny’s Funny finalist 2011 Eleanor Morton filled the guest slot for the first 5 days, before Derek Methven took a turn, then Fife stand-up comedian of the Year act 2011, The Sensational Alex Salmond Band was the guest for the final 2 days.
