We’ve had an article published about us in the Fife Free Press. It tells readers about our next gig (which is this Sunday afternoon in Kinghorn) and about Mirth of Forth Productions.
If you would like to read all about it, the article is here: Fife Free Press article
We’re back for 2019, kicking off with our regular monthly Sunday afternoon event in Kinghorn, in the café above The Harbour View pub.
Acts booked in for this event include John Gavin (one-time winner of Scottish Comedian of the Year) and Iain Hume (a finalist in the same competition in 2018), and the compere will be Carina MacLeod.
The event starts at 15:30 and tickets are just £5.00, which can either be bought directly from the venue or on the door.
A Happy New Year to all our followers. We look forward to providing more fun and exciting events in 2019. Already booked in are a further series of monthly Sunday afternoons at The Carousel in Kinghorn, Rotary Club events and appearances at The Glasgow Comedy Festival in March. We also hope to be running more festival events in Fife over the course of the summer. See you in 2019!
We’ll be taking our showcase 5 Fifers for a Fiver show to the Glasgow Comedy Festival again in March 2019. It’ll be on Wednesday 20th March at The Iron Horse pub in West Nile Street. The line-up will be confirmed nearer the time.
Tickets of course, will be £5 (plus online booking fee!) and can be bought online here: 5 Fifers for a Fiver
The comedy event at The Stables in Culross on Saturday 1st December is now completely sold out. If you have a ticket the event starts at 8:30pm and the line-up includes Neil Skene, Rosco McLelland and Rob Kane.
The now monthly gig at The Carousel in Kinghorn returns on Sunday 2nd December, at the slightly later time of 15:30. This month the show features Will Naameh as headliner, with Ross Leslie returning as the compere – fresh from coming third in the Scottish Comedian of the Year final last weekend – and acts including Declan McGuigan and Chris Iksander. Tickets £5 from the venue.
Comedy at The Stables in Culross is now turning into a biannual event. As well as the Festival night outdoors every mid-June we ran a late autumn event indoors last year which proved a great success, so there is going to be another one this autumn, on 1st December.
We’ve got a great line-up for this autumn’s event, which includes Neil Skene, Rosco McLelland and Rob Kane. If you are very lucky you might just still get a ticket but demand is always very high for these events (it’s best to look on Facebook for them).
After our first gig in the Harbour View pub in Kinghorn at the start of the month we have decided to move upstairs into The Carousel for the next gig, which will be this Sunday, 30th September.
Headlining will be former Scottish Comedian of the Year Ro Campbell, and the MC will be Ross Leslie, with locals Jay Miles and Rory Fell providing support.
Tickets will be £5 with £1 off any drink, bookable over the phone or on the day. Food is available for purchase up until when the comedy starts, which will be at 3pm.
We’ve taken our popular showcase ‘Fife Fifers for a Fiver’ show to the Glasgow Comedy Festival every year for the past 5 years, but it’s now also going to make an appearance – in Fife – at this year’s Outwith Festival.
The show is happening this Thursday, 6th September, at Dunfermline’s Royal British Legion, and features Ross Leslie, Graham Barrie, Richard Pulsford, Iain Hume and Rory Fell. Naturally, all these acts have a Fife connection!
Tickets can be bought here: Outwith 5 Fifers tickets and the show kicks off at 7pm.
